Joachim Heller, Managing Director of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG, has been appointed to the Senate of Economy Europe and the Senate of Economy Germany.

As Senator of Economy Europe, Joachim Heller represents the company HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG in the Senate of Economy Europe and Germany. Due to the corona pandemic, the official awarding of the certificate of appointment will take place at an event at the Senate’s headquarters in the Haus der Bundespressekonferenz in Berlin in 2021. The Senate of Economy is made up of leading personalities from business, science and society who are particularly aware of their responsibility towards the state and society. Together, they contribute to the practical implementation of the common good-oriented goals of sustainability in the sense of the eco-social market economy. They are also involved in informing and advising decision-makers in politics and public authorities at national, European and international level. The Senate of Economy thus revives the traditional idea of the senates in antiquity. A balanced circle of friends of independent minds followed the common good instead of particular interests alone. Impressions: Presentation of the certificate of appointment as SENATOR of the SENATE OF ECONOMY EUROPE during the Wine Blossom Festival on 12.06.2021 at the Sankt Annaberg winery in Burrweiler

The certificate of appointment was presented during the Senate’s Wine Blossom Festival on June 12, 2021 at the Senate vineyard, Weingut Sankt Annaberg in Burrweiler, by Chairman of the Senate of Economy Europe, Dr. Walter Döring and Chairman of the Senate of Economy International, Dieter Härthe in the presence of Chairman of the Senate of Economy Germany Norbert Streveld, Chairman of the Senate of Economy Foundation Dr. Christoph Brüssel and Secretary General of the FDP Germany Dr. Volker Wissing.

The Senate of Economy is made up of personalities from business, science and society who are particularly aware of their responsibility towards the state and society. After training as an industrial clerk and attending evening school in Giessen, Joachim Heller worked successfully for seven years as a photo specialist in sales, product management and as a photo consultant at the Leica Academy Photo at Leitz, Wetzlar. These activities included numerous photo world tours with high-quality Leica equipment from Leitz, Wetzlar GmbH and subsequent slide multivision lectures.

In 1985, Joachim Heller moved into the fields of medical technology and medical diagnostics, starting in the scientific sales field service of the Leitz branch in Stuttgart (product division of educational and research microscopy).

This was followed by further sales management positions at the global market leaders Olympus Hamburg (Product Specialist Medical Image Analysis Europe), Oral-B Frankfurt (Sales Manager Oral Hygiene Germany), Bayer Diagnostics GmbH (Regional Sales Manager Central), LRE Munich (Head of Sales/Marketing Cardiovascular Diagnostics Worldwide).

After 20 years in management positions, he started his own business in 1996 with the founding of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK Elektromedizin.

Joachim Heller has been the owner and managing director of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co KG, based in Braunfels (Hesse), for almost 25 years. With 35 years of experience in medical technology, Joachim Heller and his dedicated team and innovative products have successfully used their expertise and experience to help patients achieve greater mobility and thus a higher quality of life.

In 2020, Joachim Heller was appointed to the Senate of Economy Europe and the Senate of Economy Germany as Managing Director of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co.

The company

The Senate of Economy revives the ancient and at the same time modern idea of the Senate in antiquity. As a council of elders, it has always included important and recognized people.
